Comment made on July 4th, 2010 at 5:06 pmHe repeats it over and over, but Anderson Cooper is correct: they aren’t the enemy.

Comment made on July 8th, 2010 at 3:37 amI’d pay to have Copper stay 65 ft. from me.

Comment made on July 10th, 2010 at 2:36 amFreedom of Press. AC rips them apart here.
Comment made on July 10th, 2010 at 6:23 amTwo words: ZOOM LENS. Get them, who cares if they fine you???? This is public property! We’ve paid for it and continue to pay for it via taxes. Anderson, when has this stopped the media? Get ‘em.
Comment made on July 10th, 2010 at 6:54 amAnderson represent the “small people” and yet is quickly uncovering the New World creating Marshall Law as a new Police State unfolds noted in & around the Gulf and now NY.. what about the D.C. red ink Spill more so than the Gulf “spill”.. lol, yet NOT funny.
Comment made on July 11th, 2010 at 9:30 pmSorry, I disagree with the opinions from within this video completely. People are trying to work to resolve this problem. If you’ve ever had to deal with the press – they get in the way. If we want the gulf disaster cleaned up then we need to keep people from getting in the way. Its a pretty simple concept that was totally missed. The more that people are in the way, the longer it takes and the bigger the problem is.
Comment made on July 12th, 2010 at 7:26 pmTHIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! How can a Constitutional Amendment be “suspended” ?!?!?! Why are more people not aware that this is going on? If you haven’t already seen this…please watch.
Comment made on July 12th, 2010 at 7:29 pmI am sick of this. Clearly a joint effort by the government and corporate interests to suppress the truth. Our first amendment rights are being revoked. It is time for the people to stand and be counted in this ongoing capitalist war against the people and the principles of democracy. It is time to accept the fact that capitalism w/out controls leads to the wholesale slaughter of life and make efforts to stop this.
Comment made on July 13th, 2010 at 1:31 pm@ryagatich As for the press getting in the way, they don’t want to be the bad guys in this by having it said that they are in the way…The location area is vast…I could see your point if they were on boats and colliding with workers on shore and in the sea but that is clearly not the case since the area is spread over 3 states…I suspect that this is all political and that Obama & friends fear that the reports and pix will be used against them in the election cycles…
Comment made on July 13th, 2010 at 11:49 pm@ryagatich Your position would be totally acceptable except that Thad Allen himself (listen to the video @ 57 sec) said that the media could have uninhibited access…To have to govt block access to the site and info is totally unacceptable especially in light of our freedom of speech & freedom of the press rights…Besides Pres. Obama campaigned on transparency…This is not flying with us little people…
Comment made on July 13th, 2010 at 11:51 pmAnderson, would you please take a chill pill? It’s only 65 feet! That less than a length of a small boat. Stop trying to make the story about you. Act like a journalist, not a star of some reality show.
Comment made on July 14th, 2010 at 11:08 pmSTOP CRYING ABOUT THIS YOU PANSY ASS MILKING THIS STORY YOU JERK
Comment made on July 17th, 2010 at 4:28 pm@DrDana100 I thought it said Reporters could not report on the Gul Oil Spill also, not just staying 65 feet away. Is that What I read or not? I may have misunderstood. I thought they would be fined or a felony charge put on anyone who reported anything about it. Let me know.
Comment made on July 21st, 2010 at 2:46 pm@5678simon I have a question, anyone can answer. Is it possible for this oil to GET INTO OUR DRINKING WATER SUPPLY? Probably not, as I haven’t heard it mentioned. Has anyone heard anything about it.?
Comment made on July 21st, 2010 at 2:51 pm@BrandiMD someone mentioned reporters only had to stay back 65 feet. Which could be understandable, so they will not get in the way of the workers. But I thought I read that they could not report anything about the oil spill or be fined and/or have felony charges against them. Is this what I read or not. If I didn’t get the story right I would like for someone 2 tell me I can’t really put down anyone for their opinion as we still have “freedom of speech” unless an on& off button has been added
Comment made on July 21st, 2010 at 2:59 pmThe Obama administration and BP oil are trying to hide the truth , I hope more of the local citizens are able to film and post what is really happening in the gulf.
Comment made on July 21st, 2010 at 3:09 pmIt is sad to see the suffering of wildlife in this story. If you want to see real tragedy take a look at what an American company Union Carbide did to the people of Bhopal. Thousands of dead men women and children and the suffering still goes on today. How about some coverage of that CNN or is it just more comfortable to attack BP.
